3 Ways to Draw Blessings to You Like a Magnet

3 Ways To Draw Blessings to You Like a Magnet

Have you been chasing after the blessings of God to no avail?

You weren’t designed to chase something you already have! Think about how magnets work. An invisible magnetic force naturally pulls other objects to the magnet—snap! It doesn’t chase the objects; it simply has to be in the proper position to draw them in.

The same is true with the blessings of God. He didn’t design us to chase His blessings because “His divine power has given us everything we need” (2 Peter 1:3, NIV). Everything has already been bought and paid for through the blood of Jesus—we just have to get the invisible force of faith in operation and ensure we’re in proper position to draw those blessings to us like a magnet.

When it comes to finances, healing, relationships, happiness, promotion, a godly nation, increase or anything else you desire in your life, here are 3 Ways To Draw Blessings to You Like a Magnet.

1. Find the Promise

“He who promised is faithful.” –Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV)

God is not holding back anything from you.

He created you to be successful—spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially and in your relationships with others. The Word of God is full of promises regarding things that already belong to you. They are expressions of His love for you in Christ and provision for all your needs.

Whether you have a sick child, a broken dream, a bondage of continual sin or a threatened foreclosure—take it to Daddy. God gets pleasure when you allow Him to meet your needs. He is pleased when you turn from the pressures of your circumstances to the promises of His Word.

Knowing the promise is key to receiving it. If you desire something, but haven’t attached a promise to it, you won’t know how to believe for it. Find the promise. Because without enough information, things won’t work in the spirit.

Has a problem tried to raise itself up before you? Don’t talk about the problem. Don’t try to figure out what you can do about the problem. Find the promise. Say those things your heavenly Father has said are in His heart to do for you.

Whether it’s a mountain of debt, sickness or fear, Jesus said you are to have the God kind of faith that speaks to the mountain and orders it cast into the sea. Speak the Word of God to the problem, and rest in what He has said about it.

Whatever situations are before you right now, your faith will see you through. The only way the devil can stop you is if you let go of the promises of God or don’t take the time to learn what they are.

Remember: The challenge before you is not getting God to want to meet your needs. The challenge is to stir up your faith to receive all that God has for you by finding the promises.

2. Heed the Correction

“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” –Isaiah 1:19 (NKJV)

All the promises of God are “yes” and “amen,” but if you look closely, they’re also “if” and “when.”

That’s why Kenneth Copeland emphasizes how important it is not to just write down promises on some cards and confess them every day. “Don’t pull a promise out of a box and read it,” he says. “Go back to the Promise Book. Read all the verses before and after it. It’s probably conditional.”

In other words, God’s promises come with instructions and corrections. If you don’t take that correction, the prayer won’t work. It’s all connected. People will stand in faith on a promise and wonder why they aren’t receiving, but the key is in studying the full package deal.

When you heed the correction attached to a promise, you’re positioning yourself to draw blessings to you with magnetlike force. On the other hand, disobedience pushes them away. Magnets draw in, but they also repel. It’s all in the type of force being given out.

Think about Mark 11:23-25 (NIV) and look for the promise, the instruction and the correction:

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. (instruction) “TrulyI tell you, if anyone says to this mountain (instruction) ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt (correction) in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, (instruction) and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” (correction)

What we learn from this is that you can move mountains and have whatever you say, but it must be done in faith, without doubting and in a forgiving heart for it to work.

Brother Copeland has prophesied that 2022 is the year of correction, direction, protection and perfection. He recently pointed out that “it all starts with correction.” That’s the key to getting everything else.

Satan can’t get himself in between the magnetic power of a believer who knows a promise and has made the correction needed to be in line with the Word.

Are you in need of healing? Look at James 5:14-15 (NIV):

“Is anyone among you sick? (Here comes the direction.) Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. (now the correction) And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”

The prayer of faith will make you well. But we know from the next verse that faith without corresponding action is dead. That means once you’re anointed with oil, you walk, talk and act like you’ve received your healing. Of acting like you have it before you see it in the natural, Kenneth Copeland says, “You know, faith is kind of sassy. It knows it believes.”

3. Pray in Faith

“Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” –John 16:24 (NKJV)

Faith is a magnet for blessings.

God loves you. His reason for saying you couldn’t please Him without faith is not to put some kind of pressure or restraint on you. In fact, not walking by faith won’t make God love you any less. But it will keep Him from doing what gives Him the most pleasure—giving you whatever you need to succeed.

That’s why praying in faith is so critical to your receiving His blessings.

Christian failures are, by and large, prayer failures—not knowing how, when or what to pray. For example, there are so many precious believers who don’t know how to pray in tongues, so they’re stuck in their own mental prayer life. That’s dangerous. No wonder the devil has caused division and deception in the area of speaking in tongues.

Beyond praying in the spirit, there are right ways and wrong ways to pray. When we pray according to the Word, in faith and in obedience, we become magnets for the blessings of God.

Consider 2 Chronicles 7:12 (NKJV). This is a prayer that gives the formula for drawing God’s blessings in like a magnet—a prayer that found the promise, heeded the correction, and was to be prayed in faith. “If my people (conditional) who are called by My name, will humble themselves (correction) and pray and seek my face (direction) and turn from their wicked ways, (correction) then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (promise)

That is an exceedingly great and precious prayer promise.

Faith is a powerful unseen force, and it is the connector—that’s why it is impossible to please God without faith. You must first believe that He is, and that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him by faith. When you do that, you have title deed to the promise you need. You own it!

And remember…faith works by love, so if love isn’t working in your life, neither will your faith. This cannot be overstated.

Are all your needs met today? If not, why not?

According to the Bible, it’s either because you’re not praying about them at all or because when you do pray, you’re praying wrong (James 4:2-3).

What does it mean to pray wrong? In many cases, it simply means to pray without really expecting anything to happen. Many Christians do that, you know. They act like prayers are just wishes. This probably won’t do much good, they think, but who knows? It won’t hurt to give it a try.

If that’s been your attitude, then change it! Start getting serious about prayer. Stop praying just because it’s the right thing to do, and start praying to get results.

Pray, expecting to receive what you need, not just once in a while, but every time! When prayers do go unanswered, don’t just wander away saying, “I guess you never know what God’s going to do.” Go to God in prayer. Search the Bible to find out where you missed it and get the problem corrected.

When you go to God in sincere, Bible-based prayer, you know what He will do. He’ll answer you! Start expecting Him to do it today.

These 3 Ways To Draw Blessings to You Like a Magnet are simple but require attention! It’s not hard to receive from God. He doesn’t want it to be so. But like anything, there is a proper way to approach Him and spiritual laws that must be honored. The more you practice these principles, the easier they’ll become. You are a blessing magnet!
