Without revelation of our blood covenant with God and His intense loving kindness and tender mercy–hesed-agape–toward us, we will never fully understand His eternal commitment to His WORD nor to the power and scope of His love. The impact of Jesus’ words, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away” (Mark 13:31), must impress our thinking with the unchangeable nature of God’s amazing covenant love. All that He told us about the Father’s love stands forever.
We must receive the revelation that, “By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth” (Psalm 33:6, KJV). And as Hebrews 11:3 declares, “…the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (KJV). God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). He didn’t just make the decision not to. God cannot lie because in Him is light and no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). Lies are darkness, from the father of lies, the devil (John 8:44).
