How Well Do You Know God

Acts 17:22-33

They worshipped an “unknown God.”

This brings up a question to each and everyone of us. How well do we know our God, the God that we worship? Do we know when people are lying about our God? Do we stand up in His defense?

Some things to think about.

Be faithful!

Matthew 6:33-34

A reminder –

First = in time, place, order, or importance.

Sometimes our priorities can easily get shifted from one place to another. But if we truly love God we will always keep our relationship with God as our first priority. That will help us with tomorrow.

Be blessed with a day of peace.

Be faithful!

John 14:12-14 (see also Amp Bible)

Believeth = to have faith in, to trust, to put trust in.

Do we really trust God to do what He said He will do? I believe we do. He is our loving Heavenly Father. Let’s make a good day a great day in the Lord!

Be faithful!

Your Choice

Romans 6:9-23

Sin = offense, to miss the mark.
Uncleanness = impurity.
Iniquity = illegality, violation of law, wickedness.

Let us continue to press forward to the gift of God which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Can I get an “AMEN?”

Be faithful!

Be An Encourager

Ephesians 5:15-21

Much encouragement is being given to us in these verses. We all need encouragement at one time or another. We can also encourage ourselves (verse 19). It’s good to be submitted one to another. We need one another, that’s why we’re called a body, the Body of Christ.

Be faithful!

1 John 5:1-5

I know sometimes we feel like the world is trampling us under their feet. But God’s Word is always true but we must remember that it is also conditional upon our being obedient. We must love God and keep His commandments to be victorious. God promises us that his commandments are not grievous. Sometimes we must grab ourselves by the ear and pull us back to where we are supposed to be with God. It’s always our decision.

Be faithful!

Philemon 1:3-6

Communication = partnership, communion, distribution, fellowship.

Effectual = active, operative, powerful.

Acknowledging = recognition.

How well are we communicating the good things which are in us in Christ Jesus? Something to consider. Our partnership with Christ should be powerful and recognizable.

Be faithful!
