Put Off The Old And Be Renewed

Ephesians 4:17-32

We must be determined to “put off” before we “put on”.

Put off = to put away, cast off, lay apart.
Put on = in the sense of sinking into a new garment, to invest with clothing.
(See Amplified Bible)

Be determined to have a great day in the Lord.

Be faithful!

Make His Deeds Known

1 Chronicles 16:8-11

“Make known His deeds.”
When is the last time that you just took the time to share with others about the many blessings of God? Something to think about. Just good conversation about our Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus, and our Holy Spirit. Do we really know how blessed we are? I pray that we do.

Today would be a good day to start or to increase our conversation about our many blessings.
Can we?
Will we?

Be faithful!

Dead To Sin

Romans 6:1-23

The writer is quite clear about what our position should be concerning sin. As we read and study this let us pay close attention to what the Holy Spirit may speak concerning our own lives. We don’t want to become careless about our lives and attitudes. We must be constantly on guard to see that we are living a life that is sin free.

We can do it and we must do it because the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus is drawing near.

Be faithful!

Living By Example

Titus 2:1-15

As we read and study this portion of scripture it covers both men and women and how we should conduct ourselves and our responsibility to the younger generation.

Are we an example to the younger generations? Are we helping to point the younger generations in the right direction and encouraging them to do so?

Are we living the life that we should be as Christians? This gives us something to think about.

While thinking, have a great day!

Be faithful!

Are You Ready

1 Thessalonians 4:1-18

Paul’s writing to the Thessalonians is descriptive about possessing his vessel in sanctification and honor for the coming of the Lord Jesus. How are we doing about possessing our vessel, our body? How is our spirit man? Should the Lord return today will we be caught up to meet Him in the air? If we’re not sure we need to take care of that right now.

This is no time to be playing games with our relationship with Christ.
We must be serious!
We must be committed!
We must be faithful!
Think about it!

Be faithful!

What Is Your Destination?

Romans 8:1-6
(See Amplified Bible)

This portion of scripture should be a great encouragement to us or it can be a challenge. Whichever one it is will always be determined by us.

The latter part of verse 6 is especially a destination that I pray we all desire, “but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” What a Destination! An arrival to be celebrated!

Think about it, let’s allow the Holy Spirit to minister to us and see where we are in our relationship with God through Jesus Christ (The Living Word of God) by and with the Holy Spirit.

Be faithful!
